Recap: Trailers 1 & 2
| Trailer | Date | Confirmed Content |
|---|---|---|
| Trailer 1 | December 2023 | First look at Vice City & the state of Leonida; protagonist Lucia in a prison scene; Florida-inspired visuals (alligators, neon, social-media-style clips). |
| Trailer 2 | May 2025 | Second protagonist Jason; the Jason & Lucia pairing; a wider view of Leonida's map; Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long, Long Road" on the soundtrack. |
An Unprecedented Runtime
Every previous GTA trailer ran between 90 seconds and 3 minutes. A roughly 20-minute extended look (per a Netflix support report — not officially confirmed) would be the longest GTA showcase ever released, far closer to a full gameplay reveal than a teaser.
What It Could Show (speculation)
Extended Gameplay
Likely candidates: driving through Vice City, on-foot traversal, interiors, and first-person/cinematic combat — the classic GTA showcase beats.
Map & Regions
More named regions of Leonida beyond Vice City — the Keys, wetlands, Port Gellhorn — possibly with an official map reveal.
Story & Characters
More on Jason and Lucia's relationship and the criminal conspiracy, plus supporting cast (Rockstar has already published profiles for characters like Cal Hampton).
GTA Online 6
Whether the next Online service launches alongside the story is still unconfirmed — the Extended Look is the natural place for an answer.
